  • ICNARC, Intensive Care National Audit Research Centre, collates statistics

The predicted score is based on an assessment of
various factors relating to patients’ health, such as
    age, medical condition and history.
  • The fact that HCA achieves lower than predicted
mortality rates is a reflection of the quality of our
Intensive Care Units and nursing procedures.
  • HCA has more ITU (intensive treatment unit) and HDU
(high dependency unit) beds than any other private
    hospital group.
